Kia has decided that its range-topping take on the BMW 7 Series should enter the market as the Kia Quoris. The annual Interior Motives China conference - this year held in Beijing to coincide with the motor show - was opened by the official Yang Shi Min. He welcomed the many delegates by acknowledging that discussion and debate will be the key element in the future of automotive design. He stated his belief that "discussion gives the opportunity for wisdom to sparkle", and opened the proceedings by encouraging all to share their wisdom with each other.
General Motors said on Wednesday that it will recall 154,112 Chevrolet Cruze sedans to check for a problem with the steering shaft. A GM spokesman said the issue was discovered when a customer lost steering control in a parking lot but did not have an accident. GM says no accidents have occurred because of the problem.
